Silhouettes at Jessica & Timothy's Wedding Reception

 Silhouettes were a part of Jessica and Timothy's lovely Wedding Reception at Narcoossee's Restaurant at the Grand Floridian Resort on Walt Disney World property.

A stunning view of the lake as seen from Narcoossees Restaurant. 

You can see Main Street USA, the Monorail and Space Mountain!

Hand-cut Silhouettes were made of every Guest at this intimate gathering of just under 50 people.

Mickey and Minnie stopped by to dance with the Bride and Groom, and also to help them cut the cake!

What a way to keep your child's portrait...FOREVER!!

Here are the paper Silhouettes made from the photos. They were sent to the Customer to keep as well!

Product Information:

  SIZE: Charms are 1" high to the top of the "built-in" loop, not including the

attachment ring. the average width is approx .66".

HOW IT'S MADE: Each piece is hand pierced with an extra fine jeweler's saw. Details

like the bow shown on the little girl's charm can be handcrafted separately and hard soldered on

before the piece is hand finished.

TURNAROUND TIME: On average, 2 weeks is needed from receipt of the non-refundable

deposit, to guarantee their completion. 

ABOUT THE MATERIALS: The price quote

for anything other than sterling has a very short shelf life as gold and

platinum does change daily and can vary wildly over the course of 3-4 days.

So folks need to know that a price quoted is for that day and taking a week

to think on it may mean an increase in the price

An 1800's Christmas

The North Port Public Library in North Port, Florida held a Family Event on Sunday December 5th.

There were loads of activities and entertainment, and everything was FREE to the public!

Amongst the activities there were many crafts to make like sparkly pine cones, clothspin toy soldiers, corn husk dolls and Christmas earrings.

The entertainment included a clown historian and performer, the Silver Strings Dulcimer Band, a violinist, a saxophonist, a family of flute players, the Joyful Ringers Handbell Choir, Christmas Carolers, a Native American Flutist and Dancer...and of course Silhouettes!

Hand-Cut Silhouette Ornaments at Holiday Event

Kathryn made hand-cut Silhouette Christmas Ornaments on the spot at a recent holiday event.

A basket of brightly colored backings were  pre-made, all the sitter had to do was choose their backing, pose 90 seconds for their portrait, then make a ribbon loop to hang the ornament from.

Kathryn cut Silhouettes at the 6th Annual "Cup of Hope" Tea Party Fundraiser

to benefit victims of domestic violence.

The event took place at the lovely home of Attorney John and Tracy Bales of   

Bay Area Legal Services Inc.

 

Hand-Cut Silhouettes were made on the spot, and Kathryn's new puzzles were for sale!
