I finally got the silhouettes today (Saturday).  I was really sweating it - thought they would come after I left for my trip!  They are WONDERFUL!  Thanks so much.  And thank you for the extra copies of the wedding couple - they can give one to each set of parents!  AND you read my mind about the animal one mounted on larger paper.  I almost called you from Wal-Mart, but decided I would work with what you sent by making a mat for the frame.  See attached photo - I was just walking by and these were on an end cap and I thought how perfect!

Silhouettes at Tulip Grove Mansion

Tulip Grove Mansion at the Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. Nashville, TN.

Wedding reception was in a tented area out back, silhouettes and a buffet were inside! ;)

Lovely entry hall.

Winding staircase that went up three stories.

Buffet area.

And a nice corner to cut silhouettes in. It was a busy night! 5 hours non-stop!

Invites, fans, and napkins all showcased the Bride and Groom's silhouettes!

Each Guest received their hand cut Silhouette portrait made in about 2 minutes.

Custom Commission Paper Cuts

This paper cut was made especially for Walleen D. of Kentucky. She wanted a Silhouette of the Twin Spires at Churchill Downs made in a 9"x9" size, in white on a navy blue background. This cutting will go in a guest room that is being redecorated in a Kentucky theme.

Walleen wanted the Spires to be showing straight on, with just a touch of the base showing at the bottom.

Paper Pet Portrait

This Paper Pet Portrait was made with a compilation of three different photographs. Peanut's owner wanted a special background, including a particular bridge in Washington DC, an outdoor scene by the water, and Peanut facing forward. Peanut's tuft of neck fur was carefully added in as well, as the owners really wanted that feature to show. The piece measures 5"x7", and was made with acid free paper.
