Wedding Silhouettes. A Custom Order.

Kerry K. of Talahassee, FL wanted to have some custom wedding Silhouettes made for her daughter and son-in-law's first wedding anniversary. Kerry sent over three photos for me to look at and see what I could do.

She wanted both pieces to be 8x10's.
I really liked this photo a lot, I just wanted to make some small adjustments to make it translate better in silhouetted form. I simply made her lips closed, and raised the flowers a little. Kerry was very proud, and told me she took this photo of her daughter herself!

I also liked this photo as well, and Kerry especially wanted to have this one made into a hand-cut silhouette. Again, a few small changes were needed. Since the Bride's nose was covered by the Groom's nose, I simply moved her back a little, and made their noses touch.

I had fun playing with the positive and negative shapes, and adding in details like the pearl neclace.
